During the recent TechXpo event held in Academy for Teaching Excellence on February 16, 2024, Harper College faculty experienced a showcase of technology integration. The day featured insightful sessions and valuable resources aimed at advancing technology in education.
Highlights Included:
Dr. Sabba Quidwai, Founder of www.designingschools.org, kicked off the event with an inspiring keynote “Designing Schools in the Age of AI”. Her insights on AI challenged us to embrace technology for positive change in education.
The focused session, “Artificial Intelligence in Academia: Considerations & Impacts,” explored the implications of AI in education.
Spotlight sessions shed light on various aspects of technology integration and pedagogy. From understanding student attitudes toward AI tools to using video content effectively, and hearing of new technology coming to Harper, each session offered practical insights.
