In honor of Women’s History Month, Tia is being honored in the March 19, 2020 edition of Diverse: Issues in Higher Education as one of thirty-five outstanding women who have tackled some of higher education’s toughest challenges, exhibited extraordinary leadership skills, and made a positive difference in their communities.

Tia earned her doctorate in higher education administration from George Washington University and is the lead author of the newly released book, From Equity Talk to Equity Walk: Expanding Practitioner Knowledge for Racial Justice in Higher Education.
